Autumn Day in Savage, Maryland

As I was driving around Savage today checking out the new Neighborhood Watch signs, I noticed how festive and peaceful our community was today. After all of our hard work at implementing Neighborhood Watch in Savage, I thought this deserved a special post so that our community can celebrate our success together.

Check out some of these great festive, fall pictures.

This first picture is the Weaver home. Jennifer tells me they add a new character each year to their annual collection of harvest time ghouls.

First Baptist Church of Savage is having a Harvest Festival on the 31st and this is a great, safe way for our kids to have fun without all the concerns parents may have with Trick or Treating.

Savage United Methodist Church has a new date and time for their Fall Festival.

This picture shows a new sign on Washington Street near the mill. This is a recent community initiative where residents and Savage Mill management worked together with Howard County's Traffic Division, Jen Terrasa and Ken Ulman's office to encourage patrons to park in the upper lot, as to help relieve some of the overflow parking that has been occuring in residential areas around the mill. There are no new parking signs along Washington Street as well as to address the limited sight issues with patron coming out of the upper entrance to the mill. Thanks to Diane Schwartzman's office for making this happen.

We've got community going on in our great town of Savage, Maryland!
