Savage Celebrates Earth Day by Planting Savage Memorial Gardens

Today volunteers worked with Howard County Recreation and Parks to plant memorial gardens along Fair Street in Savage, MD. These gardens honor our recently lost neighbor, Pat Mullaly as well as the recently lost from the SFVC.

George and Tom with Rec. and Parks were amazing today. They work hard everyday to maintain our park in Savage as well as Carroll Baldwin Commons. Give a shout out to these guys. They Rock! (They like baked goods too)

Please stop by the garden to spend a quiet moment to reflect on all that we have accomplished as a community and to pay respect to those we've lost. Always feel free to water the garden too!

The team also planted a garden in the center of the concession area inside the park for all to enjoy.

Thank you to everyone who helped by donating money, plants, time, materials, sweat, muscles and smiles. This was true teamwork.
