Howard County Breaks Ground for North Laurel Community Center
ELLICOTT CITY, MD – Join County Executive Ken Ulman and representatives from Howard County’s Department of Citizen Services’ Office on Aging and the Department of Recreation and Parks as they “dig in” to begin construction on a new joint-use community center that will serve citizens of all ages in North Laurel. The Center will also include space for Howard County’s Police and Health Departments and feature a dual gymnasium with walking track, fitness and weight room, several multi-purpose rooms and a dance and aerobics room. Construction is expected to be completed by fall 2010.
