Howard County police investigating stabbing in Wilde Lake
Victim sustained non-life threatening injuries
Howard County Police are investigating a stabbing that occurred in the 5200 block of West Running Brook in Columbia at approximately 4:50 p.m. today. A witness called police to report a 19-year-old man had been stabbed on a basketball court.
The victim, who had stab wounds on multiple locations on the body, was transported to Howard County General Hospital by ambulance with non-life threatening conditions. He is listed in stable condition. Further details about the injuries are not available at this time.
Pending family notification, the name of the victim is not being released at this time and is not anticipated to be released tonight.
