Police urge motorists to drive safe, sober this Labor Day

Saturation patrols planned for holiday weekend
Howard County police will be out in extra force this weekend working to keep county roads safe from drunken and aggressive drivers during the Labor Day holiday.

Motorists are advised that a saturation patrol will be in place to seek out impaired and aggressive drivers. Police are urging citizens to avoid alcohol or designate a sober driver before consuming any alcohol.

Police will deploy additional officers throughout the weekend for the sole purpose of
detecting and arresting people who drive while impaired or who drive aggressively.
Howard County police encourage citizens to be safe and smart this holiday weekend on
county roads.
