I want to share with you some information about the upcoming budget season for fiscal year 2011. I thought you might be interested to know that the County Executive will be holding two budget hearings in the next two weeks to solicit comments on a draft budget for FY2011. The press release for those hearings is below.
Following these hearings, the County Executive will finalize his proposed budget and submit it to the County Council in early April. The County Council will hold hearings on the proposed budget throughout April and May. The Council is scheduled to vote on the final budget on May 19, 2010.
