Traffic delays expected Thursday on U.S. 1 Motorists are advised to expect delays in Howard County along U.S. 1 on Thursday from 2-4 p.m.Police officers and supporters of the Law Enforcement Memorial Run traveling from Philadelphia, Penn., to Washington, D.C., will be passing through the county on U.S. 1 south from the Baltimore County line to the Prince George’s County line. Howard County police officers will be staffing the route to direct traffic. Traffic delays and lane closures are anticipated, so citizens are advised to allow for additional travel time. Motorists are advised that pedestrians have the right of way.
