Skate Park Returns to Savage Twice This Fall

Howard County Recreation & Parks will be offering two Skate Park on Wheels dates at Savage Park this fall—September 18^th from 10am-Noon, and October 16^th from 1-3pm. Information is currently available at http://howardcountymd.gov/RAP/RAP_SpecialEvents.htm, and will be updated shortly on www.hcrpsports.com. As always, this program is FREE!

Skate Park on Wheels
Catch air and test your skills with ramps, fun boxes, rails and more. Bring your own in-line skates and/or skateboard. Helmet, wrist guards, elbow pads, and knee pads required (wrist guards not needed for skateboarders). SPACE IS LIMITED! First come, first served so get there early!
All ages (under 17 need parent permission form) / Dates & locations vary / Free

Also, registration is currently open for the Nightcrawlers Fishing Tournament at Centennial Park on Saturday, September 11^th, 5-10pm. A tournament flier is available at http://howardcountymd.gov/rap/rapdocs/Nightcrawlers_10.pdf.

Nightcrawlers Fishing Tournament
Boat or shoreline anglers can fish for prizes in this catch-and-release event. Youth win trophies and are entered in a random prize drawing. Adults win cash prizes and trophies. Categories include bass, bluegill, crappie, trout and catfish. For more information, contact Dawn Thomas at 410-313-4623.
