39 new volunteers signed up to create community spirit in various capacities. Teams are already getting deployed, such as the Yard Sale Team, the Hospitality Team, the Special Events Team and a Teen Mentoring Group. The SCA will provide some guidance and direction to these teams and we'll watch them go and cheer them onto success. To volunteer for any of these teams, please leave a comment on this post or come to the 9/3 community meeting to complete a contact form.
A second meeting has been scheduled for 9/3 at the SVFD at 7 p.m. which immediately following a FREE VIN Etching service provided by the HCPD from 5-7 p.m. at the SVFD. One MUST Pre-Register for the service. Form are available through the SCA or local churches. At the 2nd Neighborhood watch meeting, police liasions, block captains and watchers will be defined and areas will be setup. Meeting #2 is very important.
