By virtue of and pursuant to the provisions of Subtitle 4, Section 19.400, of the Howard County Code, notice is hereby given that the Recreation and Parks Advisory Board will conduct a Public Hearing to consider the Department of Recreation and Parks’ Fiscal Year 2010 Capital Budget, and the Fiscal Year 2011-2019 Capital Improvement Program for acquisition and development of park and recreation lands.
The hearing will be held on Wednesday, December 17, 2009, at 7:30 p.m., at the Department Headquarters, located at 7120 Oakland Mills Road, Columbia, MD 21046-1677.

County Executive Ulman's 1st FY10 Citizens' Budget Hearing
Join the County Executive Ulman as he hosts the 1st Citizens' Budget Hearing for Fiscal Year 2010. This year the County is providing citizens the opportunity to sign-up to speak at this hearing ONLINE. Starting on December 3, 2008 citizens can sign-up online by going to the County’s website, www.howardcountymd.gov and clicking on the Budget Testimony link provided. Sign up for those who wish to testify at the December 18 meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m., and testifiers will be heard on a first-come, first-to-speak basis. A sign language interpreter may be requested for the meeting by calling the Department of Citizen Services, 410-313-6400 or 410-313-6401 (TTY) at least seven days in advance.
