Announces Job Fair

ELLICOTT CITY, MD -- The Howard County Office of Workforce Development announces a May 15 Job Fair at the Ten Oaks Ballroom, 5000 Signal Bell Lane in Clarksville from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sponsored by the Columbia Workforce Center, the Fair will give job seekers an opportunity to present their resumes and talk with a variety of businesses and organizations seeking employees.

Representatives from major companies and government agencies in the Baltimore/Washington area will be there including: Defense Information System Agency (DISA), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Social Security Administration (SSA), Lockheed Martin, U.S. Department of Education, Northrop Grumman – Electronic System, the Maryland Department of Budget & Management and many others. The employers will offer a variety of job opportunities for both professional and non-professional candidates.

Attendees are encouraged to bring multiple copies of their resumes and professional attire is suggested.
