The goal is to:
-Heighten crime and drug prevention awareness
-Generate support for and participation in location anticrime programs.
-Strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships
-Send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back
-Exchange emergency contact information

Deadline for National Night Out registration is 7/15/09. This is an official registered National Night Out event.
