A note from the secretary of the Savage Historical Society...
Thought I'd send this along in case it should be included on your web site.
The attached notice was left on mail boxes (I saw them along Washington St - but mine was missing but I found it lying in the roadway) reference blasting that will be taking place this month between Route 1 and Foundry Streets, north of Gorman Road, South of the Patuxent River.
I was wondering if they were left all over town because people travelling in that area should certainly be aware of it, and residents should certainly know what the Audible Signals prior to and after blast are all about.
