Let's encourage our local government and community associations to use a system like Nixle for keeping residents of Howard County better informed in an automated fashion.
I've already been using Nixle for traffic noticiations via text to my cell phone and this works. Now let's expand the amount of relevant information we can receive such as automated crime alerts, emergency info, health alerts, and Howard County news releases, etc.
