The Howard Technology Council is hosting a Cloud Computing Forum for Business and Government, on Wednesday, October 21, 2009, 8:30 - 10:00 a.m., at The Center for Business and Technology Development, 9250 Bendix Road, North, Columbia, MD 21045.

Given today's turbulent times - it is critical to keep up with current and emerging IT service offerings that provide innovative technology strategies. Local industry leaders from the public and private sectors will be part of the panel forum exploring the issues surrounding cloud computing services.

Participants at this event will hear how the rapidly emerging cloud computing model is changing IT service delivery by shortening time to results, reducing costs, and adding value to the business needs. The forum will be discussing the challenges in considering this evolving technology services model.

The Howard Technology Council is hosting an Executive Breakfast, Build Your Business to Sell, on Thursday, October 29, 2009, 8:30 - 10:00 a.m. at The Center for Business and Technology Development, 9250 Bendix Road, North, Columbia MD 21045.

What is the exit strategy for your business? Will you pass it on to an heir? A successor? Sell it to your employees? Or sell it outright?

A panel of experts will cover all of the issues and concerns related to positioning your business fo sale or succession. This discussion panel, moderated by Ira Levy, will be comprised of a business owner that built her business to sell, Mergers and Acquisitions (M & A) experts and an M & A attorney. Bring you questions and get answers to the question,"What is the exit strategy for my business?"
